| Title So yeah, ex-rare employees, now under the name of Playtonic Games, are making a game meant to be the spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie. Even the name is similar, being Yooka-Laylee (google actually corrects this to "Did you mean ukelele?"). So, anyone else excited for this? I can't be the only one with fond memories of Banjo-Kazooie here. They even got Grant Kirkhope and David Wise doing the music for the game, and with the two samples of songs on their kickstarter page, you can definitely hear the usual Kirkhope and David Wise sounds to them. Needles to say, I'm looking VERY forward to playing this (on the Wii U. Gotta be Nintendo for this. Bring it back home). | This looks interesting, though I never played Banjo Kazooie as a kid. I was more of a Mario 64 one myself, but what platforms is this coming out for? Cuz either I can get it for myself if it's on PC or I can get my roomate to buy it since he's a huge fan of Rare. | |

It's going to be all mainstream consoles, and PC, ...and Linux, go figure.

| They've added additional stretch goals since they hit the 1m goal.
1.1m£ will get a DK rap like thing. 1.2m£ will get a Let's Play (Dev Commentary and Walkthrough.)
Neat, but I see them needing more than these stretch goals.
I honestly imagine there being a 5m+ end result.

It's just a exclusive character design by that person due to a stretch goal...so I'm just gonna hope their involvement ends there. Please God, I want this to be goooooood!

| Companies have to look for people who qualify. They aren't looking for people based on their mindset.
Most of your favorite developers might have a member that hates black people or hate gay marriage. There might even be some that are Nazis.
As long as they don't harass people, it's all good. In my opinion, of course.

Dina did harass backers though, going as far as blocking certain from the backer exclusive forums. She also only got on the project through cronyism. As for this case...I dunno. He's definitely qualified. I'll just hope for the best at this point.
