I will be posting most of my guides here (Except NA of course).
Please keep the shitposting about Crimson and NALS to a minimum please. That incident has been considered past and were all out of the wreckage now.

1st, lets begin with KLS.
If you try to make a "Full Member" account or try to verify your free account, you will need a Korean Phone Number or i-Pin. Getting an i-Pin (or Korean Phone Number) registered to your name is near-impossible without going to Korea.
1. Open up Internet Explorer (this is the ONLY browser that works) then go to the main ls website (without the space) . Click Register, the orange button.

2. You should end up at this page. It asks what type of account you would like to create. A Simple (Blue) account is a free account. However, you can only play on a Simple account for a limited amount of time- usually either 1-2 weeks or until you reach SFC (two V-shapes). Also, your free account would be affected by Korea's Shutdown Law, a law instituted by Korea prohibiting people under the age of 16 to play online games from 12:00a to 6:00a Korean Time. This roughly translates to 7:00a to 1:00p Pacific Standard Time and 10:00a to 4:00p Eastern Standard Time. You will also be prohibited to buy gold on KLS. For now, press the big blue button.

3. There will be three check boxes along with a female Card Magician graphic below. Check all three checkboxes.

4. Follow the guide below to register. Click the red button when you are done filling out the form.

5. If you are successful, you should end up at this page. Press Game Start.

6. You will be redirected to a page regarding an ActiveX program / extension. Download and install the ActiveX program. If it doesn't start automatically, click on the white button (encircled in blue).

7. Allow the extension to run for all pages in Internet Explorer.
8. Press Game Start and this window should appear. It just specifies which directory to install. Press the big orange button (inside green rectangle)

9. This should start  the auto-patcher. Let it run.

Nexon Method

Registration
If you try to make a Nexon account without verifying with a Korean Phone Number or i-Pin, you can not play Lost Saga. Getting an i-Pin (or Korean Phone Number) registered to your name is near-impossible without going to Korea. In this how-to, I discuss one way of getting a Korean Nexon account. Obviously, there are other ways. If you have a Nexon account, skip to step 12.
1. Purchase an account from newgameway. Under select your game, go to either Closers (KR) or NEXON (KR).
This site is legitimate and all accounts you purchase are fully verified and you can change the password. Closers is linked to Nexon, and therefore, accounts bought from there work perfectly with the rest of Nexon's games (INCLUDING KLS), however they come 1-2 business days after ordering. For this example, I will use Closers.

2. Press Add to Cart. You will be prompted to log in. If you have made an account, then log in. Most likely, you would have to register. Click on the Register button which follows.

3. Register for an account for newgameway.

4. Once you are done with registering, login and buy the account. The four images below should help you. Use Paypal.




5. Complete the Paypal transaction. Your account should arrive via email from newgameway in 1-2 business days.
6. The email will contain your email-password combination for Nexon. They also give a handy guide on how to change the password. For simplicity's purpose, I will be posting it here.
7. Go to nexon's home page and login with the information supplied to you.

8. You will be redirected to this page. Two-step verification is standard. Simply fill out the form. Be sure to also check the third box (Remember Email), because you will be having to do this quite a bit.

9. Once you are logged in, go to to the password change link included in the email.
10. Go to the area indicated by the red rectangles. and follow the guide picture below to change your password. Once you fill out the form, click on the blue button.

11. You will get a confirmation dialog. Press the green button.


Download
12. Now that you have your Nexon account secured, open up Internet Explorer (this is the ONLY browser that works) then go to Nexon's home page then click Lost Saga. Click Login, which is encircled in blue.

13. Login. This prompt leads to the two-step verification.

14. Press Game Start.
15. Now you have to read their ToS. Check each checkmark then put in your in-game name in the field below.

16.  After reading, checking, and inputting your in-game name, press the red button.
17. If you press Game Start, you will be redirected to a page regarding an ActiveX program / extension. Download and install the ActiveX program. If it doesn't start automatically, click on the white button (encircled in blue).

18. Allow the extension to run for all pages in Internet Explorer.
19. Press Game Start and this window should appear. It just specifies which directory to install. Press the big orange button (inside green rectangle)

20. This should start  the auto-patcher. Let it run.

All I do is sit and spectate on kls, nobody to hangout with, so I stalkand learn new combos. I tried to do snowtown master. Somehow, within like 50 secs, got swarmed by countless lil guys that lowered my fps. Im a low rank and only seem to be able to do easy dungeons. ;-;

My friend says you get evolve stones by selling perms.

I made my KLS account a LONG time ago back when it needed KSSN to be made and I never had any problems till recently.

before I could buy gold with no problem but now I can't.  I just get this error pop up.

Was your account LV2 before the site changed happened?

lvl2 ? you mean rank?  My rank was 2LT before I quit (I think that was a while before the IP ban)

He means account level. There was this system that had different levels of registration that determined how much access you had to the game. Level 1 is like having a basic account, only goes up to SFC, can't cash,, can only log in at certain times of the day. Level 2 let you go past that, but you had a low limit on how much you could cash per month. May or may not have been susceptible to curfew. Level 3 had the highest cashing limit and had no restrictions on play time.
There was a point where they changed it so that if you weren't Level 3 before a certain date (I believe it was February 16th or so of 2013), you would not be able to cash at Level 2 anymore. You were probably still at Level 2 when this happened, GrandXan.

I think it may have something to do with my ISP.... since I got the login issue out of nowhere, and at the same time I can't use VPN services (I used your guide for softether, it was a big help).

I'm a big noob with technology, and I have no idea what to do past turning off my firewall.

Oh, so now you want my help. After all the hate I received from everyone for bringing foreigners into NALS, you want my help getting into KLS.

When did the counter first start doing that? It could be related to the log-in issues a lot of NALS players were having. And what do you mean you can't use a VPN service? It does the same thing?

The issue is probably strictly related to my ISP. Currently I'm unable to:

Play NALS
Play KLS
Download any torrents
Connect to any VPN service: they just flat out fail to connect every time
Connect to steam.

I haven't tried using KLS until the IP block was lifted, so it's been doing this for about a week.

I only use it to design gear, not play any games. I understand that it may still be hypocritical, but thanks for hearing me out anyway.

Yeah, the fake is right. Sounds like your ISP. You can call your ISP and tell them you are having trouble connecting to these things and see what they say. More than likely they will send a technician out and run some tests.

Yup. Could that be the root of my problem?

You could try it without the router and see. Something could have changed settings in the router and blocked all of those ports. If it is the router causing the problem, I'd recommend factory resetting it and re-configuring the security, if necessary.
